Checking the frames can also be important and if they’re wood you can tap it and see whether it has decayed. The most obvious replacement symptom is when your windows do not operate smoothly. By this we mean not opening and closing the way it should, if it’s too stiff or loose, the frame may need replacing yet the window itself may not.
