A stove is a big investment; a well as being a heat source, it is something that is chosen for its aesthetic benefits. Anybody who is choosing a stove will want it to be a key part of their decor – nobody selects an expensive addition to their home without first thinking about exactly how it will be used and enjoyed. This might mean rearranging the room where it is going to be placed, to ensure that everybody, from every angle, will be able to benefit from and enjoy the beautiful, luxurious warmth of the stove.
The positioning of the stove will largely be dictated by the position of the chimney and flue.
