Should I have a Shower or a Bath in my Bathroom?

Designing your own bathroom can be a challenge, with you know that you need a toilet, sink and somewhere to wash. But the debate rises when choosing somewhere for you to wash, should you install a shower or a bath? Today, we are going to discuss the benefits of both options to help you to decide which will be best for your bathroom.

Showers
Let us begin our discussion by talking about the benefits of choosing a shower. It is not well known, but showers are actually better for your skin, this is due to the less exposure to water, helping to actually clean your skin rather than soaking.
Showers also take up less space in your bathroom than what a bath does. Meaning these are much more suitable for smaller bathrooms with limited space.
Finally, due to the way that showers work, you will be using less water. The fact that you are using less water will help you to save money on your water bill.

Baths
We are going to continue our discussion now by looking into the benefits of choosing a bath for your bathroom!
The main benefit of baths, and why many people across the world choose to have a bath over a shower is how relaxing they can be. With you being able to lay and fully soak and relax your muscles.
Following on from this, baths can be good for relaxing and easing muscle pains. With the warm water encouraging them to relax and repair themselves.
Finally, baths are much safer for cleaning younger children. With showers becoming extremely slippy and can be fairly scary for children. A bath offers you somewhere safe to wash your child.

So, after reading our discussion on baths and showers which one will you choose? I will personally always chose a bath with a showerhead attachment so you can get the best of both worlds.
